This was my best ever capture of this bird. Wish it could stay longer for me to enjoy its beauty but nevertheless it gave me an opportunity that will imprint in my mind forever. Thank you Mother Nature for this gift.

great pics Dennis, how do you identify it? I find the Hawk-cuckoos so confusing and it doesn't help that dfferent authors use different names for the same thing. Do you mean this is H. nisicolor? Chris
Hi Chris, I really did not know how to identified it but i merely went thru Oriental Bird Images and I did try to compare with other books too and the nearest was this, Yes it should H. nisicolor..sorry if the explaination did not help.
